Amidst bellows of whales and the smell of diesel and fish a small musical project was born. In 2008, Patrick Morales took a job working fishing boats in Alaska. Two of the boats The Viking and The Progress were the setting for the creation of a swath of songs about people experiencing love, loss, and the end of the world.
